Community Vines, a new wine label from New Jersey restaurateur Marilyn Schlossbach, James Foley of Séamus Wines and Shore Point Distributors, is giving New Jerseyans a refreshing taste of charity this fall with its recently released Rumson Red vintage. The collaborative effort between three dining and hospitality hallmarks includes a give-back component to each bottle of wine sold with a mission of supporting local and global projects that facilitate access to healthy food, professional development and youth empowerment programs in Jersey Shore communities and beyond.
Community Vines and its inaugural vintage Rumson Red is a collaborative endeavor between Marilyn Schlossbach, James Foley of Séamus Wines and Shore Point Distributors. A portion of sales from this vintage will be donated to the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and Lunch Break, New Jersey-based non-profit organizations that, among other things, fight hunger in New Jersey communities.
“This has been a long-time dream come to fruition thanks to Shore Point Distributors and Séamus Wines. We look forward to producing more community-inspired wines that support our local and global communities."
— marilyn Schlossbach, owner and executive chef of the marilyn schlossbach group
Community Vines is a collaboration between chef and restaurateur Marilyn Schlossbach, Séamus Wines and Shore Point Distributing Company. The label is inspired from each partners’ coastal roots and dedication to the communities they serve. Each vintage is developed with a give-back component to support local and global projects aimed at facilitating access to healthy food, professional development and youth-empowerment programs. The inaugural vintage, Rumson Red, went to market in August 2016 and is available at select retail locations throughout New Jersey as well as Marilyn Schlossbach Group venues. Additional vintages are currently being explored.
